No matter what we are going through, we can all make a difference in this world!
Who would have guessed I would be the recipient of the Hal O’Leary Inspiration Award, presented by the Colorado Rockies Charity Fund on Coors Field in 2005?
We don’t always get awards and accolades for what we do to reach out to others, amidst our own pain, but it is not really about that. It is about giving hope to someone else who is struggling, no matter what we get back! We can share our story, give a smile, send a note, leave a post, make a phone call or say a prayer. We never know whose life we are going to brighten or even change! When we all give a little, a lot can happen!
